How To: Semi-Fungible Tokens In Underground Football League

I’ve added semi-fungible tokens (SFT, ERC-1155) to Underground Football League as a means to support the game while also getting something in return: cool cosmetics to play with in-game and out-of-the-game collectibles.

If you’re not familiar with how tokens work, here are quick step-by-step guide for various browsers and operating systems.

Desktop Browsers (Any O/S), Android Mobile Browsers

• install a wallet extension for your browser (e.g. Meta Mask);
• transfer Polygon currency into it through a crypto-exchange;
• head on to OpenSea and purchase the desired SFTs (note that owning more than one SFTs of a type will not grant you additional bonuses or unlocks at the moment);
• if the game is open, the cosmetics associated with the SFTs you’ve purchased should be unlocked in the shop within 30 seconds;
• you’ll have access to the in-game cosmetics as long as you have the wallet installed for the browser you’re playing in and the SFTs are in your wallet (e.g. you haven’t sold them).

Mobile Operating Systems (Android, iOS)

• install Meta Mask wallet stand-alone app;
• transfer Polygon currency into it through a crypto-exchange;
• go to OpenSea and purchase the desired SFTs;
• open the game page using Meta Mask built-in browser;
• cosmetics should be available in the shop as long as you keep them in your wallet (e.g. you haven’t sold them).

Please note that it might not be possible to go full-screen in custom web3 browsers and, in general, the gameplay experience might suffer. Use this if anything else fails to work.
