Hello, faithful blog reader. Here’s another Piron Games release for you to enjoy: Amazing Acrobats!
Much inspired by Tetris, by 99 Bricks and by one of my previous release, namely That Word Game, it’s a game where physics gets involved to balance acrobats.
Development took about 50 hours, on and off, during September 2018. It was developed in Cocos Creator, using Typescript as a programming language. For the art bits, I’ve used, as always, Inkscape and Shoebox for packaging the textures to be used in Cocos Creator.
It’s very likely that a sequel may follow, Amazing Acrobats: World Tour, but with a rather different game-play. If things go according to the plan, it will be released in the beginning of 2019.
Meanwhile, keep on playing and stay tuned for even more releases! You may not want to miss the next one, as it has some wiggly…things!
Note to future self: don’t write press releases while cooking. Bad things (the non-wiggly kind) tend to happen.
